| Following the Basic Management Policy of "promoting environment conservation
activities by recognizing that global environment conservation is the most critical issue to everyone around the world", we obtained ISO 14001 compliance in April 5,2002. We intend to continue being a trusted company by achieving our own Environmental Policy.

 We at Phenitec Semiconductor Corporation promote environmental conservation activities in all fields of our corporate activities, believing environmental friendliness to be one of our key management tasks, and to contribute to realization of a peaceful and affluent society as stated in our corporate philosophy. 1. We intend to prevent contamination and reduce environmental burdens in our activities related to semiconductor production by fully understanding effects on the environment and by continually committing ourselves to technical and economic improvement to the maximum extent possible. 2. We conform to environmental laws, regulations,ordinances, agreements and other requirements to control chemicals included in our products and continually promote environmental conservation and improvement. 3. We focus on the following tasks as priority issues: 1) Committing ourselves to energy saving to stop global warming (to reduce CO2 emissions) 2) Designing, developing and selling eco-friendly products and manufacturing processes 3) Making efforts to ensure effective use of resources and promoting the 3Rs (reduction, reuse and recycling) 4. We have put in place an environmental management system and review it regularly. In addition, we promote and enhance the awareness and ability of all employees to understand our corporate environmental strategies and continually perform environmental conservation activities. |
